Mobile App: Plant Transaction

You can use the Plant Transaction tool to add plants to an existing crop.

Example Scenario: A grower may be planting for an entire week and want to update the new inventory at the end of each day, even though they plan to add more plants to the same crops in the coming days. This is to help avoid error and allow updates on the go.

Note: You can also use the Plant Inventory tool from the mobile app home screen to plant crops that don’t currently exist in the inventory.

  1. Log into the mobile application.
  2. Search for the crop you want to adjust by using either Inventory by Location or Search Inventory.
  3. Tap on the right side of the list item to see the item’s detail view.
  4. For a Plant transaction, you will fill out the following:
    1. Produced From (optional)
    2. Date Planted
    3. Qty planted
    4. Location
    5. Bed
    6. Cost (optional)
    7. Ready Date (optional)
    8. Customer (optional)
    9. Reason (optional)
    10. Spacing Type (optional)
    11. Comments (optional)
    12. Grade (optional)
  5. Tap in the top right corner.
  6. Choose the Plant option to finalize the transaction. Changes will be reflected immediately in all versions of eGrow Connect.
